ABOUT ME

Prior to graduating from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Laurel completed her undergraduate education at Davidson College in North Carolina. She was a four-year member of the Division I cross country and track teams there, specializing in the 5K and 10K (yes, that is a lot of laps!). Laurel’s interest in physical therapy was first piqued by her own injury experiences as a runner. She has now learned more than she could ever have imagined about running and running injuries. She is passionate about sharing this knowledge with her running patients. In addition to her runners, Laurel loves treating athletes and non-athletes alike. She is passionate about staying up-to-date with the latest research and will always do her best to apply it to your treatment. Outside of the PT clinic, Laurel can be found running the roads (of course), as well as biking, lifting weights, shooting hoops, and, her newest athletic venture, learning how to hit a baseball.
